The team behind the high-tech startup receives grant money from the Innovationsfonden Denmark’s InnoBooster program
Odense, Denmark: Today, Berger Neurorobotics is glad to announce that Innovation Fund Denmark approved the team’s project application for the InnoBooster program. The application was entitled “Commercial Brain-Computer Interfaces for advanced welfare technologies”. The appointed amount of money will be invested in a project with the company from the period of 1 February 2017 to 31 August 2017. Berger Neurorobotics is currently developing its first product – “Claire Cognition”, a novel AI-based system for detecting physiological signals.
Within the project, the company wants to develop a hardware prototype, integrate it with other system components, and prepare usability tests. Some other activities that will also be included in the project execution plan are an investigation of specific materials and designs, and organization of experiments that will involve real users.
“We feel highly motivated to continue developing our product’s first prototype. Our goal is to demonstrate that brain-computer interfaces can be used to address different conditions related to problems with cognitive functions and to conduct usability testings with real users to prove the workability of this concept”, commented from the company’s base camp.
